OUR FIRST FRESH CRAB DINNER.

Hi everyone , well l bet that you were wondering if we would ever use that Crab trap! well you know what l was too. But put in the water beside our boat, tie-ed it to the rail. First we put some bait in the middle, that is the yellow cone in the middle. We put some meat that l had in the freezer beef rib meat. We weren't sure if we would catch anything. The first day we put it in was week ago last Saturday. We checked on it on Sunday, well we had a catfish in it. We weren't
looking to eat that . So just put it back in the water. We to make story short, we left it in and just kept checking on it. By Friday we had three or four in it. We pulled it out on Sunday afternoon. So this was our catch of the day LOL. We weren't sure on how to clean these good things, so we checked on the Internet and found out how to do that.

So here they are waiting for the kill.

Well we sure didn't want to grab them with our hands, so we used a grab er. And here the little devil has a hold of it so we can't get a hold of him..

It looks like he is trying to do some pull ups.

Here Jerry is using a meat clever to cut them in half and our BBQ fork to hold the claw away.

And then he is in half.

And there goes another one. These are call brown crab, not sure that they get very big. These were just small ones as you could tell.

We had five in the, not bad for the first time.

Four or five are just right for us with a Baked spud and steak to go with. We no more Red Lobster, haha. When we can catch them fresh.

And the last little bit of crab meat in our bowl of butter.

We put the trap back in the water with the catfish and the what was left over Rib meat and wow by the next Saturday we had four more. So if we keep doing this we will be having fresh crab every weekend. And that's just fine by us, we love our fresh seafood.

Well other than that not much has been going on with us, we have just been working on our TANS..L O L.

We seen on the Internet that Alberta was still getting snow, and that is too bad. We sure don't miss that at all.
