WE ARE DOING WELL; AND HALFWAY TO MOIBLE ALABAMA.......

Pickwick Lock & Dam this is at the beginning of the TomBigBee River,
We dropped 84 feet at this lock.
And yes every chance l get l leave our names and when and where we are from and the day we were there. So our friend coming behind us know we are ahead of them.

This is Pickwick Lake it is B-I-G and D-e-e-p next pic is how deep this lake is ::

and some places it was even deeper than this, and the 80.3 is temperature of the water. This is about 4:30pm. NICE............
This Grand Harbor, very nice and is very expensive some nice boats here too. And it is a DRY county. We had to drive 18 to 20 miles to the next county to buy booze.
Bay Springs Marina this a nice Marina too we stayed two nights here the only other people here was a guy and his dog and they had been living here for the last two months ....

And this what he was living on, it is a 41/100 Catamaran it is 4000.sq ft. Wow big yes and no we didn't get a tour. Jake build this boat out in the derest it took him five years to do it, then had it trucked to the water. It took seven trucks to bring it there. But very nice..... He can't get in to all marinas, and if he dose no one can get around him. So he is limited to where he can stay.

And we think that on the back he brings his car with him cause he has a PT cruiser.

This is a very small Marina but nice we stayed one night here and had to get a diver in to change a prop because we met a barge on a very narrow place and we hit something in the water and bent a fin on the prop, again......

This is the TomBigBee River and it narrow narrow some places only room enough for a barge and us to pass.
These are bird house that are made from squash, we have seen them a few places.
This a pond in a yard on our way to Boonville. NICE and the water is so green.
We were in Boonville believe it we were there
They have strange names of there towns here too, Like Big V!!!
The water is so calm in some places. Like here oh soooo peaceful
The tress are already starting to turn fall colors, makes you wonder...
And now we are at Columbus, Columbus Marina we pulled in here on Friday afternoon and we will be pulling out Monday morning , this is a good place if we were going to stay at any place for very long. We are finding a lot of these marina's have a courtesy van or car for boat people to use which is nice.
In the last week we have dropped 265 feet, after that 84ft drop the rest have been 30ft each time. Jerry said by the time we get to Mobile we should be at sea level.
Well that is all for now. And if you can't post a comment on here let us know at either Jerry's or my email. jerryleicht@hotmail.com or debossert@hotmail.com until later.
It would be nice to here from some of you back home some time !!!!!
